Caring for your Hauteloom rug is easy. In the event of spills, it's important to act quickly and blot the stain with a clean white cloth. Use lukewarm water for wool rugs, and avoid using water or liquid on Viscose and Tencel rugs. Rinse with clean water and use dry towels to absorb any remaining moisture.

When vacuuming, it's best to use a canister vacuum without beater bars or a gentle broom. For high-powered upright vacuums, use the handheld attachment or turn off the beater bar. Avoid vacuuming over the edges and fringes, and if the rug is reversible, vacuum both sides and use the handheld attachment for the fringes.

If your new Hauteloom rug arrives with slightly curved corners, don't worry. Simply lay the rug upside down for a couple of days to allow the fibers to relax and flatten naturally. Alternatively, you can place a heavy object, like a book or piece of furniture, on each corner for a couple of days to smooth out the curves.
